Marecap Trans Oy has invested in safety and environmentally-friendly equipment by being the first Finnish transport company to introduce nitrogen-filled tyres. Nitrogen-filled tyres demonstrate significant improvement in road safety while diminishing carbon dioxide emissions, tyre wear, unnecessary environmental burden and fuel consumption.
Nitrogen-filled tyres maintain the correct tyre pressure longer, which reduces the vehicle’s road resistance. Thus our equipment uses less fuel, which in turn means less exhaust gas.
Safer, more economical, environmentally-friendlier - and also prolonged tyre life-cycle.
Correct tyre pressure allows the vehicle to roll more easily. This in turn impacts fuel consumption and emissions. If all vehicles in Finland maintained correct tyre pressure, annual traffic-generated carbon dioxide emissions would decrease by 40 tons!
Correct tyre-pressure also helps to reduce tyre wear and prolongs tyre life-cycle. In addition, correct tyre-pressure enhances handling-characteristics and cuts stopping distance.
